R.o.c.k. was founded in 1995 to provide in the spiritual, physical and psychological needs of children, irrespective of race or gender. Through a learning curve, and by analysis of the successes achieved, R.o.c.k. broadened its mission to also cater for the needs of children’s families. The rationale behind this is found in the fact children develop better in functional support structures, of which the family constitutes the core. The R.o.c.k. foundation is a non-profit, Section 21 company. Its trustee members include a registered social worker, an accountant, a management consultant and individuals that have, through dedication, made a difference in the development, prospects and rights of many babies and children.
